Our founder, retired Air Force officer and pilot, originated Body Telemetry and Protective Devices LLC (BT&PD) with the intent to offer the best cutting edge protection gear for the law enforcement, security, and military users who want to add a layer of insurance to a potential emergency scenario.

Our foundation grew from 28 years of Air Force service, primarily as a pilot of tactical close air support aircraft supporting our brothers in the land forces. This experience includes many weeks of field exercises and a deployment to defend Kuwait with a US Army Armored Battalion in 1994. This wide range of experience, culminating in a long tour as a strategic planner in the J5 at US Central Command in Tampa, FL, and occasionally at CENTCOM forward headquarters in the Middle East, provided Ron a large window into defense needs. During a large portion of his Reserve career status, Ron became a pilot for a major US airline, holding both jobs and a family together.

Following retirement from the AF Reserves, Ron patented a couple of small inventions and founded a small business to become familiar with challenges to overcome in business processes and major hurdles facing most small businesses. BT&PD is designed to be a value-added reseller for the defense and law enforcement space, overlapping into the security and personal protection markets. He is assisted in business process development by well-experienced tech industry professionals.
